Our Open Positions

We’re looking for a full-time Accounting Specialist to join our team in Petaluma, CA. This individual will be responsible for maintaining financial records, overseeing accounts receivable, backing up accounts payable, and conducting other tasks related to finance. This role requires accuracy, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting

What you’ll do

  • Process and reconcile accounts receivable transactions efficiently and accurately.
  • Review, reconcile, and investigate daily sales, cash deposits, and credit card receipts.
  • Resolve clients’ billing issues, make collection calls, and/or send reminders of invoices due.
  • Prepare and maintain balance sheet account reconciliations and research to ensure accuracy.
  • Manage credit applications and set up new AR accounts.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to resolve discrepancies.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure accurate documentation.
  • Provide backup assistance for processing and reconciling accounts payable as needed.
  • Process vendor invoices and pay vendors via check and ACH as needed.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Financial Controller.

Knowledge & Experience Requirements

  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounts receivable and accounts payable, ideally as a full charge bookkeeper or staff accountant
  • Bachelor degree from an accredited college or university with major in accounting, business administration, or closely related field preferred
  • Knowledge of GAAP principles and financial reporting
  • Proficiency in the use of QuickBooks and Bill.com or similar automatic bill payment platform
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, Word, etc.
  • Ability to quickly identify and resolve problems
  • Ability to perform duties accurately and timely, with frequent interruptions
  • Ability to analyze situations and implement solutions independently
  • Ability to learn new systems and procedures

We’re looking for a full-time Class A or B Rollback Driver for our new location in San Mateo, CA. store. The ideal candidate will have experience driving a rollback truck or other equipment transport vehicle and have experience in the operation and loading of construction or industrial equipment.

What you’ll do

  • Safely transport equipment to customer locations in a timely, safe, and courteous manner
  • Demonstrate use of rental equipment to customers
  • Maintain driver logs and document pre-delivery inspections
  • Comply to all safety requirements particular to the equipment, including Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations
  • Comply with all on site OSHA, government and company safety policies, procedures, and regulations including reporting any unsafe equipment, incidents or conditions
  • Maintain Truck Equipment/Inventory
  • Maintain the service and appearance of truck
  • Follow delivery/pickup instructions from Dispatcher and Manager

Knowledge & Experience Requirements

  • Must have experience loading, securing, and hauling construction equipment
  • Must hold a valid CA Commercial Class A or B Driver License
  • Must have a driving record in good standing
  • Must have proven experience driving/transporting in California
  • Must be fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment

We’re looking for a full-time Equipment Mechanic for our new location in San Mateo, CA. The ideal candidate will have experience maintaining equipment in the construction space and will have knowledge of hydraulics, electronics, gas and diesel machinery. We’re most interested in someone who can excel as part of a team, is passionate about helping customers, and is eager to do good honest work.

What you’ll do

  • Check equipment for damage, record hours used, mileage, and fuel levels
  • Service equipment to ensure equipment is safe, meets the manufacturers operation standards, and can be considered “Ready To Rent”
  • Assist customers on equipment use, operation, shutdown, and safety requirements and procedures
  • Complete part orders
  • Maintain a clean shop and work area, keeping tools organized
  • Comply with all government and company safety policies, procedures, and regulations including reporting any unsafe equipment, incidents, conditions, or safety violations
  • Assist in the training of new mechanics and technicians, and advise as needed
  • Assist co-workers, clientele, and the general public

Knowledge & Experience Requirements

  • Must have high school diploma or equivalent
  • Must be fluent in English (spoken and written)
  • Must have 1-2 years mechanic service experience in the equipment rental, construction industry, and/or related field
  • Must be able to prioritize multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Must be able to function well as part of a team

We’re looking for a full-time Rental Coordinator to join our team in San Rafael. The ideal candidate will be energetic, eager to help, and hungry to learn. We’re most interested in someone who can excel as part of a team, is passionate about helping customers, and service oriented.

Job Duties:

  • Promptly greets customers and assist in the determination of their rental needs.
  • Administers rental contracts, files, reservations, and additional documents.
  • Ensure contracts are closed and completed in a timely manner upon customers’ equipment return.
  • Inspects and documents returning equipment and applicable accessories returned.
  • Documents all damages of returned equipment and advise customers of any applicable costs.
  • Loads and unloads equipment and applicable accessories from the customers’ vehicle(s) as needed.
  • Schedules delivery, pick up, and transportation of equipment and advises drivers of all logistic requirements.
  • Informs the equipment service shop of any equipment malfunctions or repairs.
  • Maintains and organizes showroom and counter area.
  • Assist the shop, yard, parts, service, and delivery personnel as necessary.

Requirements:

  • 18 years or older and have a valid CA driver’s license.
  • Experience with common construction and industrial tools required
  • Must be available to work on Saturdays
  • Must have general mechanical attitude.
  • Must be safety-focus
  • Ability to prioritize in a busy, fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and co-workers
  • The physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 50 pounds or more repeatedly, and working indoors/outdoors when required by management.

Job Duties:

  • Instruct customers on equipment use, operation, shutdown, and safety requirements and procedures.
  • Load and unload equipment for customers
  • Clean and service equipment to ensure equipment is safe, meets the manufacturers operation standards, and can be considered “Ready To Rent”.
  • Perform daily scheduled equipment services under the direction of the yard service supervisor
  • Maintain and organize the yard and its work areas, including but not limited to, proper tool placement, spill containment and removal, slip trip and fall hazard elimination, and preservation of clean floor and/or surface conditions
  • Inspect, maintain, properly store, and refuel all propane gas cylinders as needed
  • Assist in the training of new yard service technicians, and advise as needed
  • Assist sales, parts, service, and delivery personnel as necessary
  • Assist co-workers, clientele, and the general public

Requirements:

  • 18 years or older and have a valid CA driver’s license.
